Buyer - Supply Chain

CITY: Tualatin STATE: Oregon COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
*Experience with establishing, developing and maintaining supplier relationships to deliver continued fulfillment, deflation, meet quality expectations and implement business initiatives.
*Responsible for overall planning of buying activities
*Drive inventory reduction through improved material planning, supplier cycle reductions, work in process improvements, vendor managed inventory, etc.
*Coordination with master scheduler to ensure proper planning for cycle time, inventory, and loading orders into the system.
*Establish record of achieving year-over-year deflation.
*Expedite orders as required to ensure deliveries are received within appropriate time frames.
*Required to use e-tools in order to manage the buy process.
*Must be able to adapt very quickly and work under pressure to tight deadlines
*Coordinate disposition of all non-conformances from to contract and design requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:
*Must have high school diploma or GED
*Must have at least 3 years of experience in Project Management, Sourcing, Engineering or Manufacturing
* Must have at least 3 years experience in Purchasing
*Must have experience in MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, Power Point)
* Must have knowledge of planning and MRP systems
*Must have at least 3 years of Oracle experience
* You must be willing to accept an annual salary that is not more than $80,000.00
*You must be willing to work out of an office in Tualatin, OR
