CAD / CAM ? NC Programmer

 

  San Diego precision sheet metal manufacturer has a great opportunity for a CAD/CAM-NC Programmer. If you are a self motivated person, possess strong analytical and excellent attention to detail, then you are the person we are looking for.

  We currently have 2 full time positions available.  We are looking for experienced CAD / CAM ? NC Programmers or experienced sheet metal mechanics that would be qualified to be trained in the process of CAD / CAM ? NC Programming.

 

Experience / Qualifications

? 4  years experience in precision sheet metal manufacturing

o   Experienced CAD / CAM ? NC Programmer will have a minimum of 3 years experience

? Experience with Solidworks, Fabriwin, and AP100 a plus

? Must have meticulous  attention to detail, and commitment to produce accurate high quality work

? Ability to determine needed process steps, and overall process flow for part fabrication

? Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internally at all levels of the organization

? Strong analytical skills

? Ability to interpret complex customer requirements

? Excellent computer and math skills

? Self starter, must be able to multi-task

? Ability to work under limited supervision

? Punch press experience a plus

 



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

? Create programs for the NC Turret utilizing Fabriwin and AP100 software

? Create and manipulate Solidworks part files

? Create manufacturing prints

? Candidate will be expected to learn / increase knowledge on the operation & function of NC-Turret?s

? Manage / Organize data files
