CAD Designer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
FMC Technologies' Material Handling Systems Division has an immediate opening for a CAD Designer. This position is respnsible for:
- analyzing customer specifications, inquiries, estimates and proposals and/or customer orders to determine the most economical design to comply therewith
- preparing preliminary design drawings
- preparing layout drawings
- preparing final design general arrangement drawings for customer review/approval and to provide direction in the preparation of shop detail drawings and erection of the equipment
- preparing complex material handling machnery and/or structural shop manufacturing (detail) drawings, including complicated mechanisms, steel, transfer chutes, transfer structures and the like, complete with material lists
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
We require a 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience, as well as proven ability to utilize CAD and PC to prepare drawings and engineering data. Two to four years experience in bulk material handling systems design would be a plus.
