CATEGORY MANAGER - PURCHASING - MANUFACTURING
Our client, a well respected company in an excellent mid-west location, is seeking a Category Manager to analyze and develop category strategy, manage demand, qualify and select suppliers, negotiate and manage contracts, manage demand and develop standards and specifications. This is a highly visible position with upward mobility.
You MUST have:
4 year degree
5+ years experience in purchasing, contract negotiations, strategic alliance development and competitive cost and price analysis.
PREFER:
CPM or CPIM
Procurement experience in plastic, steel or aluminum.
The company is offering a salary of $70,000 to $75,000, depending on experience, with bonus opportunity, an excellent benefit and relocation package.
