 Duties & Responsibilities   Manage Regional Condition Based Maintenance (CBM)Program Develop, Implement, and Execute the emerging CBM Program primarily within the East regionCreate training Opportunities within the region for CBMDevelop, Create and Review Corporate Maintenance StandardsSupport Standards with the development of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and Automated Condition monitoring techniquesPrograms resides within the owners Maintenance management System (SAP)

 

Manage the Execution of  Programs that requires an elevated knowledge of the Reliant Work Management ProcessFacilitate the Execution of the various Work management related processes Create training Opportunities related to Work Management related processesBuild plant ownership of the Work Management  related  Processes through the use of a  teamProcess owner of a Work management related processDevelop an understanding of where the appropriate work management related expertise resides within the organizationAnalyze the effectiveness of a work management related ProcessGenerate and Apply reporting mechanisms applicable to a work management related process.

Knowledge/SkillsAdvanced knowledge of power plant systems and operation relative to preventative and predictive maintenance and Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) techniquesAdvanced knowledge of power plant systems and equipment in area of specialization (electrical, mechanical, etc)Ability to understand and interpret drawings and specificationsKnowledge of and ability to apply applicable industry standards and codes Ability to use PC and associated MS software applications to collect and analyze data and produce spreadsheets, databases, and reportsExperience with SAP is preferredAbility to use basic math and algebra to perform calculationsAbility to effectively communicate technical concepts (verbal and written)Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individualsAbility to perform as a team member or leader in a cross-functional team environment and achieve consensus decisionsAbility to perform inspections of power plant systems and equipment and take field measurementsAbility to support and maintain schedule on several concurrent assignmentsAbility to perform standard calculations in area of specializationAbility to read, create and follow written policies and procedures Ability to read, write and understand English Basic Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations

 

Education/Experience

Batchelor of Science in an Engineering Field and a minimum of 4 years experience in area of specialization; or a minimum of 8 years of experience in a related field

Working Conditions:Job is based in Pittsburgh. PANormal office environment and/or out-of-doors work environment  (Including working at heights, high/low ambient temperatures and high humidity areas at generating unit work locations)Requires operation of a motor vehicle; Driver’s LicenseRequires standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, twisting, climbing stairs and ladders, and entering plant equipment to access, inspect or collect data on plant equipmentWork overtime and non-standard hours as requiredRequires frequent travel outside the business areaOccasionally requires wearing personal protective safety equipment (respirators, safety glasses, hard hat, appropriate footwear, ear plugs, etc.)May be required to work around rotating and energized equipment, hazardous materials and chemicalsRequires operation of a personal computerOccasionally requires lifting as appropriate to perform duties and responsibilities
