We are seeking a CMM Assembler to: Perform complicated hand assembly of subassemblies and parts as required. Inspect units for proper operation and accuracy of hardware and software, using various measuring and testing equipment. Calibrate and adjust as needed, using customized calibration software for three-dimensional axis accuracy. Perform various quality checks using fixed and variable gauges, including visual inspections, to determine product quality. Rework as needed. Record inspection results in department files noting temperature, humidity, and all machine master data. Assist in answering technical questions from Sales, Customer Service, customers, and distributors. Keep administrative responsibilities for Software copy station. Maintain proper production schedule, software issues and inventories. Make necessary reports (Accounting and monthly) relative to CMM production and software issues using MACOLA and the IFS system. Assist manager by contacting vendors to get pricing for proper material, parts and components. Maintain daily work time sheets and nonconformance reports. Complete claim reports as needed. Use forklift, overhead crane, personal computer, oscilloscope, laser interferometer, and voltmeter.

Must have a good math background. Knowledge in the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and calipers. One to two years of mechanical and/or assembly experience with trouble shooting ability. Knowledge of PC with windows application. Excellent verbal skills in dealing with customers and co-workers.
