CMM Programmer

Our Auburn, IN Business Unit is searching for a CMM Programmer.  As a CMM Programmer/Operator you will be a part of the Quality Assurance Team. 

Responsibilities include:

Calibrate CMM in accordance to customer requirements.
Generate part programs and check routines using Brown & Sharpe PCDMIS software; run statistical analyses with DataPage.
Maintain an up-to-date catalog of all programs and check routines on the CMM computer system.
Certify checking fixtures as required and check parts to establish requirements.
Maintain and perform computer system back-ups and data files for all CMM reports.
Collaborate with Tool & Die, Production, Inspection Supervisors and Customers on dimensional quality issues concerning CMM generated data.

Qualifications:
CMM certification, plus 3 years' experience operating Brown & Sharpe coordinate measuring machines.
Ability to operate and program a DEA Coordinate Measuring Machine using DEA "master" software.
Expert understanding of automotive coordinates and geometry.
Ability to read auto-body blueprints and possess knowledge of geometric tolerancing
Experience with AutoCAD/Solutions 3000 CAD systems and Checkmate Graphical Programming Systems.
Ability to recommend tooling corrections to the Tool & Die Team (knowledge in application of tooling skills)
Proficiency in MS Office
