CNC Lathe Set Up

Responsibilities

Works with the lead in understanding what is required to operate the machine, and to make good parts.  Keeps the machine or machines up and running on production. Maintains the machine, checks that the parts being produced are meeting blueprint or planning. Inspects own work to ensure that the parts meet the required specifications. Requests help when required.  Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Five (5) years experience.  Must be able to set up machine; follow verbal instructions; read basic blue prints and sketches and use hand measuring tools.  Possess the ability to communicate with lead and other employees. Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. (over 25 lbs with assistance).
