SKF-TCM makes and repairs precision ball screws for machine tools, aircraft, automotive, factory automation including semiconductor and other industries. The plant is vertically integrated and includes induction heat treatment, turning, milling, grinding, assembly, and EDM operations. SKF-TCM currently has 100,000 square feet of floor space, 88 employees, and is located 30 miles north of Detroit. We are now seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for our facility in Armada, MI.

Job Type:

Full Time, 2nd Shift (Training period will be on day shift)

Hours/Week:

40+

Job Requirements:

? Safety driven and Quality conscious

? A minimum of 5 years experience

? Ability to setup and operate CNC lathes

 (2 axis long bed or 4 axis short bed)

? Familiarity with steady-rest & four jaw chuck work

? Ability to interpret and implement blueprint specifications

? Ability to work with standard and metric format

? Experience with precision tolerances

? Self motivated, excellent work habits and ethics

? Must have own tools

Other:

? Ball screw manufacturing experience helpful

? Experience with other types of CNC machine grinding equipment helpful. 

? Okuma, Cincinnati, Binns & Berry experience helpful.
