CNC Machinist/Programmer

 

Precision Forms has been machining parts for the medical/aerospace industries for over 50 years.  Our company is considered to be one of the most technically advanced shops in our area and we are often asked to quote on jobs that other companies can not do.  Over those years we have sustained steady growth.  Our equipment is state of the art and our building is modern and clean.

 

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently from Customer supplied and/or shop generated drawings.  He should be able to determine best method of holding and machining the part, and be able to program and setup the job.Experience with both CNC Mill and Lathes is a plus.  He must be able to inspect his own work to ensure compliance to B/P requirements.

 

On short runs, we may expect the machinist to finish parts.  On long runs, we will most likely have and operator take over after first piece inspection.  Machinist must be able to communicate necessary information to ensure a smooth transition.

 

Candidate must be a team player and a people person with the ability to train and work closely with fellow employees as required.
