CNC Programmer/Operator

SureFire is seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator highly skilled in the programming & operation of a variety of CNC Machines.

 

Start machine and observe its operation to reposition workpiece, change dies, or adjust machine settings for multiple or successive passes. Set up and edit programs. Inspect or measure using precision measuring instruments. We require rotation through all production jobs on a regular basis for cross training purposes.

 

Five plus years experience programming and operating manual and CNC machines, such as OD Grinders, Wire EDM, as well as CNC Lathes and Mills. Must be able to determine programming, production methods and sequence of operations to produce parts according to blue prints and specifications. Candidate must have advanced math skills (i.e. trigonometry and advanced algebra). Knowledge of ESPRIT software and/or Mastercam is a plus. Fanuc control with GibbsCAM experience is a plus.
