CNC SET-UP/PROGRAMMER 2ND SHIFT

Century Die Company, a highly touted Blow Mold manufacturer for the plastics industry, is hiring in Tolleson, AZ. The Company, headquartered in Fremont, OH, has a satellite operation in Tolleson.  Blow Mold experience a PLUS.

 

 

JOB PURPOSE: 

 

Person with strong Horizontal skills as well as 3-Axis Vertical to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies. Right individual could assume supervisor role.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 

Tool and Die Certificate from two-year vocational or technical school; or three to five years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:   

 

?  Leadership and supervisory skills.

?  CNC machining experience a must.

?  Makino Vertical and Horizontal and Fadal VMC.

?  Strong set up skills required.  Must have General machining background with blueprint reading and use of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).

 ?  Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and specifications.  G & M code manual programming and editing a MUST.

?  MasterCam 2.5 axis programming experience a plus.

?  Machining BECU, Alum and all grades of Steel to extremely tight tolerances.

?  Responsible for maintaining specifications; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worN tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

 

?  Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
