CNC SPECIALIST

About the Opportunity We looking for a talented individual to fill the role of CNC Specialist.  The CNC Specialist will perform major adjustments and set-ups on CNC machines within departments.  The ideal candidate MUST have experience in working with Mazak, Citizen, and Davenport machines.

 

Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent or three years of manufacturing plant experience
Prior CNC machining experience with Mazak, Citizen, Davenport and Brown and Sharp and must be able to perform adjustments and set ups on machines
Must have CNC programming skills
Ability to use and interpret calipers and micrometers
Ability to read
Ability to learn to interpret orders
High level of manual dexterity
Willing to work overtime as required

 

Responsibilities:
Performs major adjustments and set ups on CNC machines
Performs CNC programming
Performs operations on machines to produce/machine parts
Periodically checks parts for correct measurements to verify conformance to specifications
Assists in the training of department personnel
Work efficiently to attain realization goals
Follow regulatory agency (FDA, UL or ISO) standards or policies
