CNC Setup / Operator
THE COMPANY
Finite Precision is a high quality contract manufacturer and OEM that specializes in precision machined components and assembles for a wide variety of industries. Our main focus is on production of specialty parts for scientific, motorcycle, automotive, and high tech manufacturing applications. We have an immediate opening for a CNC Setup / Operator Person. Finite Precision is located in Marietta, Georgia (a northern suburb of Atlanta, GA) and will be relocating to Canton, Georgia in November 2006.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The CNC Setup / Operator Person we are seeking will be able to set up and run CNC Milling and Turning Centers. The candidate will be responsible for setting up work and tool offsets, performing first part inspections, and running the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
The CNC Person should be experienced in the following:
Using measurement tools ? micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauging, etc. Setting up CNC Milling Centers Setting up CNC Turning Centers Setting tool and work offsets Minimum 4 Years Experience Job Shop Experience Knowledge of HAAS / Fanuc Controls a Plus
The candidate we are seeking should also be a self starter, be detail oriented, have excellent organizational skills, be familiar with quality control systems, and have a solid foundational knowledge of machining.
