Capital Project Buyer

Manpower Professional, in partnership with one of our top clients in Neenah, WI, seeks a Capital Project Buyer (Sourcing and Supply Management Analyst). We are looking a minimum of 7 years of buying experience - 2 years minimum of buying MRO commodities and 3 years minimum of buying capital equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas: Equipment Purchase Agreement contract development and negotiation; Demonstrated interaction with Engineering, Legal, and Risk Management on capital buying projects; Thorough understanding of Terms and Conditions favorable to corporation; Lead role experience for buying capital projects in excess of $10M; Knowledge of interaction for support of scope of supply including construction, project management, major equipment vendors and consulting engineering. To qualify, you must possess the following skills and abilities: Strong analytical skills, Results orientation, Strategic negotiating, Thorough understanding of contracts (as listed above for project buying), Experience in SAP or another like automated purchasing system A priority towards customer service, Leadership skills.
