We currently have a need for a Category Manager for our Home D?cor division. This position will assist the Division President and the Chief Marketing Officer in developing unique, innovative and successful new products.? ?The Category Manager will manage the product line lifecycle from concept to market, to include all details of the product development and to communicating key deadlines, milestones and changes to cross-functional team members.

Specific Job ResponsibilitiesManage PLM and SKU set ups (item numbers and UPC?s) Attend concept review meetings and participate in brainstorming meetings to concept ideas for product line introduction.? Source artwork for new product either directly with overseas offices or via in-house sourcing experts. Assist in managing QA/QC standards. Identify and communicate the competitive environment and industry trends and present product information to assist in product line and business planning processes. Study and understand pricing of competitive market items and retail channels. Able to travel overseas constantly.

Qualifications5 ? 10 years product management in Glassware and Houseware experience is a MUST! Knowledge of retail gross margin requirements, display requirements, product support, delivery and timingAbility to champion initiatives cross divisionally Experience managing a team with multiple projects Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills Proficiency in PC applications including MS Word and Excel

B.A./B.S. degree.? MBA is preferred
