Chemist / Chemical Engineer

Our client, a major employer in Northeast Wisconsin, located in a community with an easy-going lifestyle and all the benefits of metropolitan living is seeking a Chemical Engineer for their facility.  Opportunity awaits a seasoned Chemical Engineer / Chemist who is looking for a long-term commitment in an exciting R&D Department.

 

Responsibilities:


Development, approval and process specifications for new or existing extinguishing or suppression agents.


Design and develop fire suppression products or agents.


Work with approved agencies.


Perform engineering duties.


Provide technical support for existing products or to group companies.

 

Requirements / Experiences:
Strong interpersonal skills
Manage multiple projects and facilitate teams
Problem solving skills
Follow processes
Experience in Fire Protection field desirable
Knowledge of grinding and blending technologies desirable
Strong laboratory background
Project management skills

 

Qualifications:
B.S. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
3 ? 5 years experience in industrial chemical lab or chemical process area
Good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Results driven
Self-directed
Effective team builder
Ability to learn, change and adapt as needed
