Clean Room Machine Operator

Operates, Epitaxial Deposition Reactors, Cleaning Benches and various metrology tools in a cleanroom environment. Keeps accurate and up to date records of production, qualification and R&D runs. Use 500x microscope. Precisely follows work instructions and processes. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.  Six months to one year work experience, preferably in a high-tech environment.  Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment; analytical/problem solving skills. Cleanroom experience preferred.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts at a 10th grade level, and learn more complex skills as needed. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer skills.  Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software; Internet software and Database software skills a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position requires that the employee be able to stand for long periods of time, work 12 hour shifts, all within a clean-room environment, including full bunny-suit gear.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Available Shifts:

 

Shift 1: 6am-6pm Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Wednesday. $12.50 per hour

Shift 3: 6am-6pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday. $12.50 per hour

Shift 4: 6pm-6am Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, every other Saturday. 10% Shift Differential
