Title:  Continuous Process Improvement Expert

 

Summary:

? The overall function of this position is to improve product health and reduce warranty expense through the leading of Six Sigma teams that are focused on identifying and resolving problems associated with product quality and reliability

 

Job Description:

? Responsibilities will include identifying and investigating product problems, defining commercial and corporate impact, scoring and financially justifying potential projects, launching project teams, using good project management to direct team activities, leading teams to execute projects using statistical methodology, tracking project status and results, removing and elevating project barriers, and developing team members.  

Backgrounds that will receive consideration:

? A Service &/or Applications Engineer background where your responsibilities have include(d) solving field problems

? A strong Six-Sigma background in either Machinery, or Components

? An Engineer working in hydraulics, or on equipment that uses hydraulics

 

Qualifications:

? Bachelors Degree preferably in Engineering or Manufacturing, or an equivalent level of work experience

? Demonstrated excellence in leading teams

? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple project assignments simultaneously

? Demonstrated excellence in communications (oral and written)

? Demonstrated passion for customers and dealers in regards to resolving product problems quickly and completely

? Ability to become trained and proficient in Six Sigma methodology and Reliability analysis tools

 

Desired Qualifications:

? Prior Six Sigma black belt experience

? Knowledge of associated functional areas including Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Purchasing
