Contract Master Scheduler/APICS

Local premier company looking for a contract Master Scheduler. The primary function of is Planning and release an assigned group of commodities and services, both purchased and manufactured. Assists the manufacturing manager in
achieving department objectives in scheduling, inventory levels, and
cost reduction. Implementing inventory, planning and production
scheduling consistent with the materials manufacturing philosophy of the
plant. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Materials Science, Engineering or related field.APICS certification is preferred.
Must have 3 years or more of planning experience. Qualification include:
Must have a good understanding of MAPICS, Inventory Management, JIT &
Lean Production, capacity planning and master scheduling.
Must have general product knowledge and knowledge of the manufacturing
systems.
Must have knowledge of corporate and plant management policies including
purchasing ethics policy.
Must have knowledge of CRT operation, transaction codes, data processing
and accounting.
