Contract Materials Planner - Automotive

Job Description: Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Materials Planner who is willing to work on a contractual basis.  The ideal candidate will coordinate materials planning for the plant and work with inventory control.  Please note that this position has the possibility of becoming a permanent position.

 

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to, the following
Maintain delivery schedules
Ensure raw materials are available

 

Requirements:
3 to 5 years experience as a Material Planner in a manufacturing plant
Solid knowledge of planning materials for production
Working knowledge of the automotive industry regarding Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers and customers
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work professionally with customers
Good computer skills
Highly organized

 

Education:

Associates Degree

 

Rate of Pay:

$24.00 to $26.00 Hourly

 

Hours:

1st Shift

 

Type of Employment:

Contractual, Full-Time

 

Location:

Commutable within the region of Greenville / Spartanburg, South Carolina
