Requirements for the position include:

?BS in Business Administration or equivalent.?? A minimum of zero to two years of related government contract administration experience for Grade A06 or a minimum of two to four years experience with additional training in contract law for Grade A07.? The following requirements vary between the Grade A06 and A07 levels primarily in the degree of independence, the level of mentoring/guidance needed to perform the functions and the complexity of the proposals and contracts administered.Administers assigned technical contracts and subcontracts and required changes, ensuring compliance with prime contract requirements.Reviews contract documents and correspondence as part of the analysis of incoming bid request and develops preliminary contract terms and conditions.Prepare and write proposals, as well as identify and write any change notices to existing contracts.? Negotiate proposals (and any change notices) for existing products and services including development of pricing strategies in support of EMD?s financial objectives.

?Participates in negotiations for new and complex products and services with existing or prospective clients to establish basic cost and performance guidelines for assigned contracts.Monitors contract performance to ensure cost and technical objectives are being met.Recommends appropriate activities to resolve performance difficulties.Request amendments or modifications to contracts as required.Maintain liaison with customers and internal personnel to expedite and coordinate contract activities.

?Ensure that contracts are in compliance in accordance with corporate and government requirements for ethical and legal conduct.

?Must be a US citizen and either possess or be able to qualify for a government security clearance.
