Contracts Administrator / Management Rep. (CA/MR)

Southern California based company is looking for a seasoned Contracts Administrator / Management Rep., supporting the Commercial, Medical, FAA and Aerospace Markets?

 

CA/MR will represent BWI in negotiations for existing and/or future business contracts? Evaluate contract inputs and outputs, mitigate contractual aspects and risk management evaluation?

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

10+ years as a Contracts Administrator and must have an in-depth knowledge of Contractual Administrative aspects pertaining to: RFQ?s, BAFO?s, CFR?s, FAR?s, DFAR?s, T?s & C?s, LTA?s, and ITAR (Import/Export Regulations)?

 

A strong Military background associated with Supply Chain Management (SCM) would be helpful? This is not a single point position where as; you will be being solely acting as V.P. of Contracts, but also working as our in-house QMS Management Representative and providing support at the Operational levels?

 

Computer savvy in: MS Word, Excel Spreadsheets, Power Point Presentations, MS Outlook, Visio, and Internet Web-based Programs?

 

BWI is looking for someone that is aggressive, decisive, and willing to work the necessary hours and travel as required? Formalize and present proposal packages to the stated markets and their associated representatives?

 

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability for a security clearance?(if req?d)

 

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Provide interpretation of contractual provisions?

Assess risk management inputs/outputs?

Prepare associated reports to top management?

Ability to balance a fast paced business environment?

Act as Management Representative, representing our QMS Programs?

Maintain internal data base on all contract provisions / negotiations / POC?s?

Provide strategy development and preparation of executive proposal packages?

Provide flow-down aspects to the associated departments / management team?

Ensure government Technical Data Packages (TDP?s) and DD250?s for finance?

Search out new business development opportunities... i.e. Local, State and Gov?t levels?

 

EDUCATION:

BA / MBA preferred or 10+ years of hands on experience / negotiations?
