Crystal Growth Operators (Day and Night Shifts)

Evergreen Solar is seeking talented individuals to join our production staff.? This is a 12 hour shift position,?working on a?rotation bases,?Monday through Sunday.? Individuals will be scheduled to work three days on and four days off;?than four days on and three days off.? The day shift works from 7:15 AM to 7:30 PM and the night shift works from 7:15 PM to 7:30 AM.

Selected individuals will monitor the furnace operation to convert mouton silicon to a solid.? Analyze and assess the development of the crystal ribbons.? Along with ttroubleshooting problems with the development of the silicon crystal ribbon.

Specific responsibilities include:

?Harvesting the ribbon by scribing the ribbon to ensure proper ribbon growth (6? every 2 hours).Monitoring ribbon quality through the furnace data computer reporting system.Monitoring furnace operation to ensure uniform ribbon thickness.Making adjustments to PLC controller as required/necessary.????? Troubleshooting process problems and make corrections if needed.Cleaning furnace internally as required to remove containments that heed proper operations.Practicing good housekeeping protocols.Loading string reels and rework when necessary.Relieving laser operators when necessary.

Qualified applicants must have a HS Diploma and 2-5 years experience working as a machine operator ( i.e. CNC machinist) is required.

This position?offers a pay for performance structure,?along with a?production bonus incentive.? 0ur leading operators can earn up to the mid to high 30's.?
