Crystal Growth Rebuilder

Selected individual will be responsible for harvesting the crystal growth ribbons by scribing the ribbon to ensure proper ribbon growth (6? every 2 hours).? Individual will mmonitor ribbon quality through the furnace data computer reporting system.? This is a 12 hour shift position working from 7:15 AM to 7:30 PM (Sun-Sat.).? The position rotates days on and days off in a pattern of; 3 days on and 4 days off, then rotates to 4 days on and 3 days off.

Specific duties include:

?Individual will be responsible for?hot zone rebuild and assembly of components and preventive maintenance.Troubleshoot and repair Crystal Growth equipment.Identify and address crystal growth process issues.Calibrate process parameters i.e. melt height, scanner, pyrometer, puller speed. Provide support for furnace puller assemblies.Responsible for silicon storage and dopant preparation.Conduct Semi-lab lifetime testing Initiate tracking and documenting for special cell lots through cell fabricationConduct sheet (Rho) testing of cells and spares maintenance.Provide support in the area of inventory control and incoming inspectionMonitor furnace operation to ensure uniform ribbon thickness.Make adjustments to PLC controller as required/necessary.????? Clean furnace internally as required to remove containments that heed proper operations.Practice good housekeeping protocols.Load string reels and rework when necessary.Relieve laser operators when necessary.

To qualify for this role candidates must have a HS Diploma and 2-5 years experience working as a machine operator (i.e. CNC machinist).??
