Job Purpose

Essential Functions

Sets up and operates machine to cut material stock

Reviews job sample containing dimensions or specifications to size of sheet, and amount to trim.

Measures from edge-to-edge, using various tools, and types instructions on machine keyboard or manually sets cutting guides to cut plastic to prescribed dimensions.

Examines cut stock for imperfections and verify that material is cut to specified size or cut marks.

Removes material from machine and stacks or wraps for packaging.

Lubricates machine, changes dull knives, and performs running repairs as needed.

Adhere to production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.

Audit and cycle count compliance.

Compliance with warehouse operations systems by adhering to product handling and storage requirements.

Adherence to all company policies and procedures.


Qualifications/Requirements:
Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

2yrs+ warehouse experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment

Must be forklift certified or have the ability to become a certified forklift operator within 3 months.

Capability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.

Ability to operate lift trucks in a safe and professional manner and adhere to preventative maintenance procedures for lift trucks.

Demonstrated ability to adhere to prescribed safety requirements and hold other associates accountable for safe working practices.

Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
