Linde Gas LLC is a worldwide leader in the manufacturing and marketing of industrial, medical, and specialty gases. We have an excellent full-time opportunity for Cylinder Handler/Filler at our Hammond, IN plant.  

 

Job duties include:

?  Loading/unloading & sorting cylinders

?  Labeling & painting specialty gas cylinders

?  Perform cylinder pre-fill inspection

?  Assist in the cylinder filling operation

?  Safely and proficiently operating a forklift in a large and traffic-heavy yard environment

?  Locating appropriate inventory item(s) as indicated on customer order

?  Performing other duties as assigned

 

A high school diploma is required. Must demonstrate good communication skills, ability to read and understand labels and maneuver weights up to 100 pounds.  Must be able to work second shift hours 3:00 PM to Midnight.  Prior experience operating a forklift is preferable and have the ability to work overtime as required.
