DEPT SUPERVISOR (E/L)

Job Description:
As a key member of our food can manufacturing facility, the Production Supervisor will work closely with the Department Manager to meet the following criteria:*  Responsible for providing a safe work environment for our employees.  Promotes 'SAFETY" in all aspects of the operation.  *Supports the department manager in all aspects of daily plant operations.*  Supervises and directs activities concerned with production.  This would  include utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, standards and machine and equipment capability.* Drive our continuous improvement process.* Effectively communicate any changes in schedules, production or  procedures.* Revises production schedules as necessary.

Job Requirements:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree.Must possess 2 - 3 years' experience in a manufacturing leadership role,ideally in light metal stamping.Must have a high mechanical aptitude.Must be detail-oriented.Must possess strong organization/computer skills. (Excel, Word, Power Point).Must be a proven leader and a self starter.Must be able to work any shift and extended hours.Must be a self-starter. Must be able to work independently.Must have the potential to become a department manager
