Demetron - Materials Coordinator - (AH10571)

Kerr Corporation, an operating subsidiary of Sybron Dental Specialties, Inc., develops, manufactures, and markets loupes and lights for the dental and medical professions worldwide.

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Materials Coordinator at our facility in Middleton, WI.

Major responsibilities:
-Post miscellaneous inventory transactions and movement of inventory.
-Part number and Bill of Material maintenance.
-Enter receiving reports and close open purchase orders in a timely manner.
-Assist Buyer/Planners with planning and forecasting necessary to reduce stock shortages.
-Administer the cycle count program and reconcile physical inventory counts to the perpetual inventory system.
-Prepare inventory management reports
-Assist with stocking requirements for office and lunchroom supplies.
-Create and distribute production order packets.
-Reconcile completed production order packets.
-Other tasks as assigned by management.

Education / Experience:
-Associates degree preferred; will accept 2-3 years of equivalent experience.
-Must be detailed and accurate.
-Working knowledge of perpetual inventory systems.
-Proficient with Excel and Word.
-Ability to work with various levels of the organization in a professional manner.
-Excellent written and communication skills.
-Prior experience working with inventory software.
-Prior experience within a manufacturing or optical lab environment helpful.
-Accounting background beneficial.
