Design Engineer - Electro-Mech/SolidWorks/Packaging Machines 45-65 K/yr

Excellent opportunity for a MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER at an innovative company in Northern Georgia. Qualifications required are 2-10 years work experience in 2-D and 3-D design of capital equipment with a firm background in electro-mechanical systems. Ideal candidate will have a Design Engineering degree, packaging machinery design experience plus SolidWorks or equivalent application experience. Key responsibilities are to support project engineering activities with accurate, on-time and on-budget documentation. Position entails making recommendations that improve the performance of the engineering department and contributing to new product and technology development. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results driven and team oriented. The successful candidate needs to be well organized, analytical, and innovative and have excellent communication skills.
