With over sixty-five years of experience combined with precision craftsmanship and industry-leading innovation, we create display cases with outstanding presentation features.
Federal Industries currently has an excellent opportunity for a Designer in our Belleville, WI facility. The successful candidate will be a key player of the Engineering Team, managing projects, testing products and more. This person will also (on occasion) travel for troubleshooting issues and/or trade shows.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
? Lead person on managing projects
? Spearhead the designing and constructing of prototypes
? Key person in vendor selection
? Oversee testing of new products
? Responsible for conversion of prototype into production-ready stage
The ideal candidate will have:
? Associate degree in Mechanical Design
? Minimum of 5 years work experience
? Prior 3 D experience a must
? Proficient in Cad software
? Experience with Solid Edge or Solid Works preferred
? Previous work history in the food service industry and light gauge sheet metal fabrication is a plus
