Detailed Scheduler

JOB CONTENT

Job Purpose: To prepare a detail (30-day fixed) schedule for production resources. To ensure execution of detail (30-day fixed) schedule.  To communicate shortages and status with Plant management and Corporate Master Scheduling.

This position shall operate in accordance with company policy & procedures, FDA regulations, ISO standards, the Canadian Medical Device Regulations (CMDR), and the Medical Device Directives (MDD).

 



Essential Functions:

1. Prepare and ensure execution of the 30-day fixed production schedule.  Identify process issues and communicate with Business Unit Leaders and Supply Chain Team Leaders

2. Allocate material to process orders and release picks to Storeroom

3. Coordinate and implement PECO?s

4. Maintain process order maintenance in SAP/MRP.  This will involve maintaining accurate delivery dates, status and quantities in the system

5. Identify and communicate shortages and other issues to Production, Purchasing and Supply Chain Team Leaders

6. Process reject products and follow-up

7. Perform SAP transactions and analysis

8. Develop spreadsheets and reports as necessary

9. Support Supply Chain Team Leaders

10. Analyze capacity plans.

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES

Experience/Training/Education/Certification

Required:

-Associate Degree or BS Degree in Business, Management or Operations

-APICS Certification is preferred

-SAP Knowledge is preferred
