The San Francisco area office of the Western Division is seeking an individual to develop annual market corporate plans and for securing corporate dollars that support market level activities of the American Diabetes Association with in the Greater Bay area. The office is located in Emeryville. Strong sales experience a must along with demonstrated experience in building corporate relationships. Demonstrated knowledge of cause related marketing and a proven track record in securing corporate sponsorship dollars and corporate team recruitment

The ideal candidate will possess experience working among diverse communities through volunteer development and fund raising. Candidate will be working within a team environment and must flexible, able to multi-task, detailed oriented with excellent follow through and execution.

Salary to start depending on experience and qualifications.

* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of one year experience with ADA, similar voluntary health agencies, or in progressively responsible positions of administration, fund raising and program activities preferred
*Ability to travel daily and work evenings and weekends
*Have access to an automobile
*Able to lift 35 lbs


Working knowledge of Microsoft office.
Must pay close attention to details, be able to manage multiple activities, and describe ADA's vision of successful events to volunteers.
Familiarity with fundraising events is strongly preferred.
Must have experience in working with diverse volunteer groups from many employment and socio economic backgrounds.
