Director, Product Development & Quality Systems
The Director, Product Development & Quality Systems, will provide leadership, vision, and strategic plan development as well as execution in the area of technology, product development and quality.
Translate consumer and customer trends and needs into innovative products, customer solutions and product specifications.
Provide technical expertise and quality assurance/quality control programs to product development, supply chain and manufacturing organizations.
Facilitate development, transfer and implementation of new and improved products from concept through finished product launch.
Ensure quality programs for all self-manufactured and co-packed product in order to provide the company with quality preferred products.
This important senior management position reports to the VP of Operations, and is initially responsible for the development of new and transferred products, implementation of quality systems and process development/control.
Growth in this position will include the development of an R&D team to further the company?s position as a strategic supplier to food service, institutional and retail customers.
