This company manufactures precision rubber / elastomer?components used in the medical and automotive industries.? Help this company be a leader in the industry by acting as the Director / Vice President of Rubber Technology.? This person will:

?Lead and manage activities in the Materials Development Lab and the?Product Test Lab.Lead and manage the Advanced Product Development and Advanced Process Development Groups.Develop new and innovative materials, products, and processes required to meet the company's strategic goals and objectives.Interface with other global resources to ensure consistent procedures, processes, and equipment utilization.Maintain and further develop capabilities in computational modeling for elastomeric products.Evaluate, screen and manage research and development projects.Assist manufacturing with material related processing problems.

Qualifications:

?Undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science,?Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplineAdvanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline?preferred10?years experience in developing elastomeric materials, products, and processes5 years experience in technical managementExcellent training and leadership skillsExcellent English skillsInternational business experience, willingness to travel internationally about 10%Comfortable interfacing with customers and suppliersExperience in the Automotive, small engine, appliance, or medical industries preferred
