Director of Operations

We currently have a Director of Operations opening in our Dallas (Plano), Texas facility.


Responsible for managing all Manufacturing Operations including low volume, soft tooling sheet metal enclosures fabrication, printed circuit board assembly, backplane assembly and systems integration. 
Regularly interacts with major customers and executives requiring negotiation of extremely difficult and/or critical matters.
Makes decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures effective achievement of operational objectives.
Individual will define and report performance for key metrics on a monthly basis.  Examples of such indicators are meeting customer expectations on schedule, quality reporting, efficiency and utilization, overtime, labor rates, inventory control, down time, etc.

Job Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have a BS degree in engineering or manufacturing, and 15+ years of operations management experience.
Candidate requires a high level of manufacturing operations knowledge. Other requirements include prior experience implementing lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies.
The ideal candidate would also have prior experience in contract manufacturing or start-up environment, and have had full P & L responsibility for a 500-600 person manufacturing operation.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and have the ability to lead the team to the next level.
