Description: The Judge Group, Inc. is currently in search of a Director of Purchasing for a USDA further processing company located in Texas. The Director of Purchasing will be in charge of the procurement of beef, chicken, and pork for this facility. The breakdown will be 60% beef, 35% poultry, and 5% pork. The volume of the facility will be in the $115-$150 million range with the bulk of it being in beef followed by poultry and pork. This position will have a buyer reporting to them. Requirements:

The qualified candidate for the Director of Purchasing position MUST HAVE at least 3-5 years of experience purchasing and procuring protein products such as beef, poultry, and pork FOR a manufacturer. A strong USDA background is highly desired. International commodity sourcing is also high preferred.
