ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR

My client is located in an area of the Southeast that is close to city life but offers a suburban lifestyle. Excellent compensation and benefits await the successful candidate.

The successful candidate will work with both internal and external resources to develop, install and debug detailed design of automation, PLC, HMI, and process systems that integrate wood processing machinery components such as conveyors, pumps, fans, cyclones, filters, compressors, presses, saws, power transmission devices, hydraulic systems, piping, ducting. The candidate will lead efforts to develop and install facility utilities and services such as roadways, parking lots, water, sewer, drainage, electric power, natural gas or propane systems, compressed air, foundations, buildings, fire suppression, lighting, and communication links. Candidate must be able to develop and maintain project documentation defining standards, specifications, plans, prints, schematics and/or other necessary documentation required to achieve defined project goals.

The candidate will have at least a 2 year degree in related engineering field or equivalent as well as 3-4 years experience in the wood processing industry.  Must have detailed knowledge of PLC and HMI use,  manufacturing processes, available technologies, specific equipment and applicable vendors. A working knowledge of automatic and process control systems, AC & DC drives, coordinated drives systems and position control systems is also required. Strong preference to candidates with a wood processing background.
