EXTRUSION SUPERINTENDENT

Job Summary

This position is responsible for coordinating the production activities in relationship with department production goals.?

?

Primary Duties

▪ Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with

? effective operations and cost factors.

▪ Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop????

? budget?and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery??

? dates of production orders.

▪ Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to

? obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

▪ Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine

? causes of nonconformity with product specifications, and operating production problems.

▪ Monitors adherence to safety rules and regulations.

▪ Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures.

▪ Lead and develop staff to be accountable for results.

▪ Conduct performance appraisals and provide feedback on a regular basis.

▪ Process time tracking information.

Education/Experience

▪ Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or two to three years?manufacturing/production

? experience;?or equivalent combination of education and experience.

PLEASE NOTE:??This?opening is on a?12 hour rotating schedule?and will be filled either 6 am to 6 pm, or 6 pm?to 6 am shift??- working every other weekend.?
