Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

This position reports to the Maintenance Leader, and is responsible for driving safety, quality, and productivity in plant maintenance operations. The position will be responsible for the supervision, training, development and engagement of maintenance employees in creating a Reliability Organization. The successful person in this position will be a professional Maintenance Leader with proven skills in operations/maintenance. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven track record of achieving results through people engagement are required.

Accountabilities:
Leading the maintenance area to achieve safety, overall equipment effectiveness and total unit cost goals
Overall accountability for the installation, maintenance and repair of plant assets Coordinate with operations leadership to ensure a safe, predictable manufacturing. processes and reliability
Create a work environment characterized by mutual trust, open communications, teamwork and a passion for winning.
Ensure training needs are identified and met
Align accountabilities of employees with plant goals
Become a technical expert in plant protocols, mfg. process, and equipment Utilize plant Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Monitor and control spare parts inventory and signed out parts.

Requirements:
BS Degree preferred, preferably in an Electrical background
5 years experience in supervision/manufacturing environment
Capability in predictive and reliability maintenance
Understanding of PLC systems
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Strong working knowledge of maintaining industrial equipment
Knowledge of industrial utilities systems
Experience, knowledge or trained in Six Sigma
Ability to create and drive change
