A client in Irvine, California, seeks an Electronics Engineer for a contract position lasting 6 to 9 months. This person will assist in the development of a new control system for a laboratory microscope system, and related products, including cable design and assisting with analog and system design. This requires 10 + years as an electronics technician, or 5 + years as a degreed electronics engineer, with experience in electronics technology and electrical design. Experience with instrumentation design would be a big plus. Due to interaction with other designers this is a part time position, about 20 to 30 hours per week. No expenses or per diem is available so only local candidates will be considered.
