Electronic Repair Technician - Audio, Component Level, Analog, Digital
Will troubleshoot and repair SMT and thru-hole digital and analog circuits to the component level. Will work with embedded systems, microprocessors, DSP, FPGA, D/A, A/D and analog circuitry. Will work within a team repairing manufacturing failures and field returns and be technically supported by test engineers and the engineering team.

Perform documentation preparation and review for transfer of repairs to outside service centers, including BOM?s, schematics, assembly drawings, and service manuals. Participate in training of repair technicians from outside service centers. Must be familiar with using oscilloscopes, distortion analyzers, DMM?s, and frequency counters.

ASEE, Technical School Certificate, or equivalent and. 3-5 years experience in the industry. Computer skills should include Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office. Must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment performing electronic repair to the component level. Programming skills in Visual Basic or C and/or experience with Audio Precision for audio and Tektronix for video is a plus. ?Basic soldering, rework, and electro-mechanical assembly skills required.
