Electronics / Manufacturing Technician
A critical front-line position in one of Pittsburgh?s top manufacturing companies. Industrial Scientific is a leading manufacturer of gas detection instrumentation and is seeking top talent in its ISO 9001:2000 facility in Oakdale.
Job Duties and responsibilities:
? Perform key tasks in the LEAN manufacturing process of some or all of the following: PCB work (SMT based), portable gas detection instruments, fixed gas detection systems, gas detector docking stations, and legacy instruments.
? Work in LEAN work cells with 2-5 teammates.
? Cross-train in areas outside of primary responsibility to ensure sustainment of continuous operations.
Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in electronics preferred.
Minimum of one year of soldering experience.
Experience in a LEAN manufacturing environment preferred.
Some experience in MS Office, Excel and Word preferred.
Some knowledge or certification in IPC Class III or Mil Spec standards.
Good problem solving skills and attention to detail.
