Job Description:

Testing, troubleshooting, repair of board level to machine level products.



Duties:

* Assembly and testing of optical encoders on D.C. servo motors.


* Troubleshooting startup problems on new machines. Involves tracing signals using prints, running test software to help isolate problems.
* Q.C. and test of incoming printed circuit boards using test fixture[s]. Using an oscilloscope to isolate problems if any are found.
* Setup and calibration of new machines in a production environment using test software and measuring tools.
* Building of test fixtures for Engineering and Manufacturing.
* Informs Engineering by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.


Skills/Qualifications:

3+ years experience.

Proficiency with oscilloscope, digital voltmeter, reading schematics.

Working knowledge of P.C.'s, DOS and Windows.

Problem solving skill set.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
