Embedded Manufacturing Manager

CITY: Albuquerque STATE: New Mexico COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Direct leadership responsibility for all Embedded Manufacturing Operations, including production, manufacturing and test engineering, facilities, EHS, and material planning.
* Responsible for meeting all key manufacturing metrics, such as inventory management, product quality and performance, and On Time Delivery (Span); takes ownership in meeting EHS compliance requirements.
* This position has multi site responsibility - Greenville, SC; Huntsville AL; St Paul, MN; Albuquerque, NM; Santa Barbara, CA; Camarillo, CA; Augsburg, Germany.
* Strategically plan staffing needs to optimize labor productivity and efficiency.
* Coordinate with site business leaders to define, review and support operational business metrics.
* Establish and lead operating leadership meetings for staff coordination and communication.
* Identify and drive productivity and capital budget projects to meet SII operating plan commitments and business objectives, including VCP and Base Cost Productivity.
* Plan and implement manufacturing growth initiatives as part of annual Embedded growth playbook review.
* Must have demonstrated ability as a change agent combined with the ability to work at all levels of the organization.
* Provide Six Sigma leadership and promote lean manufacturing tools and methodologies in driving process improvements.
* Collaborate with P&L business leaders to provide long-term vision and strategic plans for Embedded manufacturing.
* Energize employees and encourage employee involvement to drive change.
* Strong influencing skills; ability to operate in a matrix environment, with upward and downward dotted line reporting relationships.

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Six Sigma (Quality) Certification and Training.
* Bachelors Degree in business, operations management, engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 7 years operations management and business leadership experience, preferably in a cross functional capacity.
* Strong operations background in lean manufacturing, MRP/materials, EHS, inventory control, SPAN, and facilities management.
* Demonstrated performance in meeting quarterly/annual production goals and metrics.
* Excellent team facilitation skills and polished business acumen.
* Demonstrated inclusive leader capabilities; keen ability to energizing employees at all levels of an organization.

Desired:
* Six Sigma (Quality).
* MBA or related graduate degree.
* Circuit board and/or electronics manufacturing experience.
