Engineering Aide
Purpose
Multifunctional role which supports operations, document control and engineering. Works with multiple departments to support various positions.
Key Responsibilities
? Reviews and modifies documents and procedures necessary to capture preferred methods for performing process or activity.
? Trains in various operations roles and provides back up support performing process functions such as, electrode fabrication, running exhaust pumps, gas backfilling, running leak detection equipment, Rokide thermal spraying, soldering, brazing, electrical testing, etc.
? May select, set up, and calibrate test equipment to conduct tests required for production testing.
? Records information, plots curves, interprets data and prepares routine reports from obtained statistics.
? Performs other related duties of comparable complexity as directed.
Critical Success Factors
? Technical Skills: Requires an associates degree in the electronic/mechanical/chemical area along with 5 years of related experience or other equivalent training and experience. Must be Solder certified and have knowledge of brazing and vacuum systems. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel is required. Having a real ?can do? attitude is also a must.
