Job description

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Manager out of the automotive industry to join this successful and growing facility in beautiful South Carolina.  Our client is looking for an individual with a proven track record as an Engineering Manager and at least 8 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.  The successful applicant will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for all engineering activities at the facility, supporting current business as well as new business development.  This is a once in a life time opportunity to join a growing company

 

Requirements

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must have the following:

 

?  A BS Engineering Degree is required.  A BSME, while not required is a big plus +

?  An MBA is a plus +

?  8 + years of experience in a Tier I automotive manufacturing or assembly facility

?  Injection molding, stamping, forging, and automation experience is desired

?  Experience with Continuous improvement, Kaizen, 6 Sigma, and other lean methodologies are a huge plus ++
