Entry Level Production Planner

ENTRY LEVEL PRODUCTION CONTROL PLANNER POSITION

 

WELL ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURING COMPANY SEEKS HIGHLY MOTIVATED PERSON WITH A MECHANICAL /MANUFACTURING/ ENGINEERING BACKGROUND TO FILL A POSITION AS A PRODUCTION CONTROL PLANNER.  FAST PACED ENVIRONMENT.  EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS.  MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE.  2 YEAR DEGREE REQUIRED IN INDUSTRIAL, MECHANICAL, OR MANUFACTURING FIELDS.

 

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

Creation of work orders and release of work to shop floor

Follow up of work through plant to ensure on-time delivery

Creation and release of purchase orders

Expediting parts through shop for faster delivery

Improving work flow through shop, using Lean Manufacturing techniques

Work as part of an improvement team to improve efficiencies

Methodize jobs to optimize manufacture

Work with our vendor quality and delivery rating system
