Griffin Industries, a leader in agri-business, is currently seeking an experienced Environmental / Safety Coordinator to join its Management Team at our Butler, KY facility located approx 30 miles south of Cincinnati. This is a great opportunity for a self - motivated, ?hands on? individual looking for stability and growth in a well established organization.
Responsibilities include:Administering the site?s world class safety programs.Providing OSHA safety training for new and current employees.Facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings / programs.Facilitate accident review process.Administer the site?s environmental compliance policies and procedures including site inspections, sampling, Title V, SWPPP, SPCC, HACCP and Wastewater-land application.Permits include air, wastewater, stormwater, boiler and other business / operating licenses.
Bachelor degree preferred in either Engineering, Environmental, Agriculture, Industrial Management or similar related field with a minimum of 3-5 years previous safety / environmental experience in an industrial setting. Ideal candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent verbal / written communication skills.
