Equipment Programmer
SCHEDULE/SHIFT: 1st (7:00AM - 3:30PM)
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will provide equipment programming support to the production and proto areas of manufacturing. This position plays a key role in the introduction of new product, cost reduction and in continuous improvement in our electro mechanical manufacturing and assembly departments. This position will develop, release and debug equipment programming for SMT/PTH, AOI and various pieces of production equipment. The person must be knowledgeable with Equipment Programming Tools (FujiCAM, GerbCAM, UniCAM, Aegis) and various CAM data types/formats. This position will provide support during new product development and will be responsible to provide assembly process instructions. This job will also require excellent know of BOM (Bills of Materials) of various configurations (indented, flattened and multi-level). Updating equipment programming per ECO/ECNs is also a requirement. This is a hands on position requiring excellent communication and teamwork skills. This position will require someone with excellent equipment trouble shooting skills . Knowledge of component packaging is a must.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
?A technical degree: B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering is preferred, or
?5 years experience providing program engineering support in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
? Strong background in Lean and Six Sigma concepts and application
?An understanding and working knowledge of systematic problem-solving through root cause analysis, process capability and statistical process control methods
* Must have a minimum of 5 years equipment programming/debug/ generation/ GERBER-CAD Conversion experience.
* Must have working knowledge of SMT Placement Equipment/ PTH Equipment, AOI Systems
?Bills of Materials Structure
?Good working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, CAD, and experience with ERP systems
?Excellent communications skills ? both written and oral
